1. When Trump challenged Ramaphosa on why a genocidal song is being sung in stadiums by tens of thousands of people in mass political gatherings.
Ramaphosa replied that in a vibrant democracy, fringe parties also have freedom of speech, but we “are completely opposed” to the singing of that song.
That is a lie, the government has been protecting the rights of politicians to sing that song. It has been sung in stadiums and mass political gatherings for years now, and nothing has been done to stop it. Afriforum has gone as far as taking the case to the constitutional court, but they have been resisted at every step of the way, and even the constitutional court has refused to hear the case. For interest, Ramaphosa is asked here whether he “denounces that kind of language, and always has done so”, to which he replies “Oh yes! We’ve always done so. As government, and as my party we are completely opposed to that”. If that was so, why is Afriforum having such a hard time trying to get that song banned?
Secondly, if the EFF is merely a fringe political party, then so was the Nazi party in 1930s Germany. The EFF have been hovering around 10% of the vote, so was the National Socialist Workers Party of Germany (abbreviated as Nazi party) who began as a far left party and were also consistently hovering around 10% of the national vote. The parallels between Mr Hitler at that time and today’s Mr Malema are staggering. All it took was an economic crisis for this 10% party to sweep the next elections.
2. The farmers are merely affected by the same crime that affects us all.
4000 out of 30,000 commercial farmers have been murdered since 1994. If you think this is not true, I refer you to an interview with South Africa’s former head of state security, trained under President Mandela. This is the man who founded South Africa’s national intelligence agency called the Scorpions, which was later disbanded because they were perhaps a little too effective and started threatening organised crime within the government itself. If anyone knows what is happening on the ground, it would be him, he is probably the most qualified person we could ask.
The nature of these murders also calls this statement into question, many of which include torture that goes on for many hours. In one specific case, a boy was boiled alive. In another case, drills were used to drill through a woman’s feet while she was still alive. Unfortunately for me, I am in contact with people who are connected with those who have actually cleaned the blood off the walls from one of these events. They are not the kind of people who would make this stuff up.
3. We are trying to fight this crime, but we need help and technology from the United States to do it.
As mentioned earlier, the ANC disbanded our national intelligence agency, the Scorpions, and replaced them with a group of political stooges, called the Hawks. In doing so, they crippled our ability to fight and track down criminal syndicates, which is unsurprising because the very government that initiated this are themselves a criminal syndicate.
